A new visitor at Patna zoo
Updated on Apr 23, 2007 09:17 pm IST
The Patna zoo has a new inmate This new addition is a pangolin, the amazing ant and termite eater. Pangolin is a rare sight because the animal is a nocturnal being and not see around too often. The zoo authorities are finding it difficult to keep the prised possession in good humour as it feeds on ants and termites. Pangolin or scaly anteaters are mammals with large scales on their skin. They are found in tropical regions of Africa and Asia.
