Senior leader of main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party, Lal Krishna Advani on Tuesday promised religious tours for people if voted to power. BJP has in the past opposed grant of subsidy by the government to Muslim Haj pilgrims and if not, then the government extend similar subsidies to Hindu pilgrims to Mansarovar in Tibet and other domestic pilgrimages. Meanwhile India's Railway Minister took pot shots at Advani, saying he was not destined to be a Prime Minister.
