Arun Jaitely speaks on Lokpal bill in Rajya Sabha
Updated on Aug 27, 2011 10:06 pm IST
While agreeing broadly with all the three contentious issues of the Janlokpal Bill, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley today said any Lokpal bill must be made compatible with the Constitution. Jaitey agreed that a citizen's charter must be made of all government departments as that would be a good step towards governance. He, however, declined to support Anna Hazare's demand for inclusion of the conduct of MPs inside Parliament and judiciary under the Lokpal's ambit.
