Atal Bihari Vajpayee turns 87

Atal Bihari Vajpayee celebrated his 87th birthday today amongst his well wishers cutting across party lines. BJP leaders visited Vajpayee's residence with bouquets and presents and gave their good wishes to him. Senior leader of the BJP Rajnath Singh reached his residence and offered his good wishes. He also appealed to the Government of India to give Vajpayee the Bharat Ratna for his achievements and contributions to the country Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with other leaders like Arun Shourie visited Vajpayee's residence in the capital and greeted the Padma Vibhushan winner.
