Bangalore police rescue 300 child beggars

The Bangalore police along with NGOs and the Child Welfare dept have rescued 300 children and several others being forced to beg. Six people have been arrested in 9 cases but the kingpins still seem to be at large. A survey conducted by NGOs over 4 months points out that there are over 1,100 children begging on the IT city's streets.
