BJP dismisses Jethmalani’s defence of new CBI Chief

The Bharatiya Janata Party has distanced itself from the remarks of its senior leader Ram Jethmalani who has disagreed with the party's stand over the appointment of Ranjit Sinha as the new CBI director. Jethmalani had also written a letter to BJP party Chief Nitin Gadkari over the matter and had strongly asked him to reconsider the party's stand on the issue.
