BJP revives temple plan ahead of polls

Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday said that it would construct a temple that has been a flashpoint of tension between Hindus and Muslims for years. Denying that the party had put the controversial proposal on the backburner, senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi said that his outfit would make a new law to facilitate construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya if voted to power.
