Updated on May 08, 2012 03:58 pm IST
The BJP today slammed Home minister P.Chidambaram for delaying permission for the sale of Aircel to Malaysia-based Maxis in 2006 when he was Finance Minister. The delay in the deal had allegedly benefited his son Karthi Chidambaram financially. Targeting the role of CBI in this case, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that investigating agency is deliberately trying to delay the investigation in this case. Meanwhile, taking up the issue in the Parliament, BJP MPs raised slogans demanding the suspension of Question Hour in favour of a discussion over the issue, which led to adjournment of both the houses till noon.
