The BRICS group of emerging world powerhouses - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - is set to outline plans for a joint development bank and stock exchange tie ups between the countries while the BRICS summit kicks off in New Delhi on Thursday. Security has been tightened in the capital before the arrival of BRICS leaders including China's Hu Jintao. Jintao's visit drew protests from Tibetan activists, one of whom died yesterday after he set himself ablaze.
