BSY gets bail in land de-notification case

The Karnataka high court today granted bail to former chief minister of the state BS Yeddyurappa, who was arrested in the land de-notification case. The BJP leader was in custody for nearly three weeks and faces three more corruption cases and illegal land deals. He has sought anticipatory bail in all the cases. Yeddyurappa was arrested on Oct 15 and has been in Bangalore's central prison since Oct 19 after spending three days in two hospitals.
