Updated on May 27, 2012 09:25 pm IST
The CBI today arrested YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the disproportionate assets case after three days of interrogation. The Andhra Pradesh high court had earlier rejected his anticipatory bail application, following which speculation about his arrest was growing. Reddy is accused of conspiring with his father, late Y S Rajshekhara Reddy – the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh– to dole out favours to companies that invested in his businesses in a quid pro quo arrangement.
