Cong can demand any absurd thing: MM Joshi on probe against CAG

Hitting back at the Congress after it said a probe must be ordered against CAG over 2G report, following principal auditor, RP Singh's allegations that BJP leader and PAC Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi had influenced the report, Joshi has said that Congress can ask any absurd thing. Joshi further said that the government wanted to cover up all its misdeeds and corruption activity, by questioning the CAG. MoS, PMO, V. Narayanasamy slammed Joshi for submitting the report without the consent of the members. Speaking on similar lines, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh also demanded a public statement in the matter.Keywords: CAG, Murli Manohar Joshi, 2G report, R P Singh
