Congress party intensifies attack on BJP

Ahead of the third phase of India's national elections, central ruling Congress party intensified attack on main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party. Addressing a public rally in Surat on Sunday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ridiculed the BJP's claim of delivering a pro-industry government in Gujarat as he referred to the plight of the city's diamond industry.
