Controversies won't affect Lokpal committee work: Pranab

Commenting on controversies surfacing on certain members of the Lokpal Bill drafting committee, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Friday assured that the controversies would not affect the working of the committee. A CD, reportedly containing a conversation of one of the panellist on the drafting committee, Shanti Bhushan, with political leaders such as Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh in 2006 over bribing a particular judge, was sent to certain media houses.
