CVC appointment was an error of judgement: PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday reiterated that he accepted 'full responsibility' for appointment of P.J. Thomas as central vigilance commissioner (CVC) and said guidelines to appoint the head of India's main anti-corruption body would be followed. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister said that there had been error of judgment.
