CWG Organising Committee announces caterers, estimated cost Rs 939 mn

The Organizing Committee of the Commonwealth Games announced the names of the organisations that bagged the catering contracts for the Games. While announcing the catering contracts, on Saturday member of Organizing Committee Sanjeev Mittal said the catering for the lounges has been divided into eight clusters and given to three different firms. Mittal also said that the prices quoted earlier were too high, prompting the Organising Committee (OC) to go in for different packages. Mittal told the reporters that that menu would be diverse in the Village and estimated the total cost for the catering as Rs 939 million.
