Cyclone Laila wreaks havoc in Andhra, heads to Orissa

After causing havoc in coastal Andhra Pradesh late Thursday, killing 14 people, inundating scores of villages and inflicting massive damage to infrastructure, the cyclone Laila has now headed towards the neighbouring Orissa.Before it got weakened on Thursday, Laila hit Andhra accompanied by heavy rains, high storm surges and winds with speed of 125 km an hour, which snapped mobile links, forcing cancellation of trains and damaging electricity and communication systems.
