Updated on Nov 20, 2010 08:42 pm IST
The Environment Ministry is likely to decide the fate of the South Korean giant Posco's proposed Dollar12-billion integrated steel plant in Orissa in the next few weeks. The environment minister also spoke on the Polavaram dam project in Andhra Pradesh, and added that all the legal procedures are going to be followed for the same. The POSCO project is seen as a test case of India's investment climate after being stalled by local protests and delays over environmental clearance.
