Disillusioned maoist militants surrender to police

Disillusioned by the violent ideology of the naxals, four Maoist have surrendered before the police in Keonjhar district of Odisha. The Maoists also surrendered a gun and 16 live bullets to the police. As per police sources, the militants surrendered after suffering torture and humiliation by the top cadres. The authorities have also given the Maoists an amount of Rs. 50,000 each and have made arrangements for free education of their children.
