The Election Commission on Friday stopped the screening of an Assamese film 'Pale Pale Ure Mon' starring Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi. The ban comes as a result of complaint to Election Commission by the state's main opposition the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that alleges that the film is method of propaganda by Gogoi ahead of assembly polls in the region.
