A day after being found in an acute state of starvation, one of the two sisters who had confined themselves to their apartment for over six months has died on Wednesday. In a case of self-depravation, Anuradha Bahl and her sister Sonali Bahl were found in a dehydrated state by police on Tuesday in their apartment. Police had broken into the apartment after being informed by neighbours about the state of the women who had not come out of their home for the past seven months. The doctor who was treating the sisters said that they were brought in an acute stage of malnourishment and one of the sisters died due to that.
