FDI: Logjam continues in Parliament

Logjam continues in the Parliament over foreign direct investment and both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day. When Lok Sabha convened in the morning, Opposition party members rushed to the well demanding rollback of the government's decision. Scene was no different in the Rajya Sabha. So both the houses were adjourned till noon first. However, the din continued when both the houses resumed proceedings at 12 o'clock leading to their adjournment for the day. Senior CPI-M leader Sitaram Yechury insisted that until government goes back on its decision over FDI, Opposition would not let Parliament function.
