Fire poses threat to Corbett

A raging fire in the forests of Uttarakhand is posing a severe threat to the famed Jim Corbett National Park. The fire has been raging for a week now. According to official reports, parts of the park have already been ravaged in the fire. Rajiv Bhartri, Director, Corbett National Park said that only the southern part of the park has caught fire till now but the situation is tense.
