Govt to fully support rescue operations in Leh: Chavan

After assessing the situation in the flood-ravaged Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office Prithviraj Chavan said that the central and state governments would extend their full support to speed up the relief and rescue operations. He chaired a high-level meeting on Sunday that was attended by officers of various defence units; paramilitary forces and other establishments engaged in the relief operations. Chavan also assured that all organisations are working in cooperation tandem with one another and the nation is together in dealing with this unforeseen natural calamity.
