Handicraft jewellery reels under recession

The slump in the global market coupled with the terror strikes in Mumbai have hit the one billion rupees handicrafts jewellery industry of Agra, as the drying trickle of tourists has brought down the business by almost fifty percent. The industry was already reeling under the global meltdown and the business of the Rs 1 billion worth industry has drooped down by almost 50 percent.
