Police booked 14 people in connection with vandalism of an under-construction church in Haryana. Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) into the matter against 14 people for rioting, damaging place of worship, theft and promoting enmity after a complain from the priest. Meanwhile, police are also investigating the religious conversion angle as villagers alleged that priest was making efforts to convert some of the residents. The cross above the building was vandalized last Saturday and was reportedly replaced by an idol of lord Hanuman in Kaimri village of Hisar district in Haryana.
