India and South Korea sign four pacts

India and South Korea signed four pacts and agreed to enhance co-operation in various programmes related to science and technology. The mutual accords were signed in the presence of the visiting South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at New Delhi on Monday. Besides the signing of these historic pacts, Indian Prime Minister and South Korean President held parleys to enhance co-operation in wide range of bilateral and regional co-operation including areas such as renewable energy, defence and the biotech sector. The two leaders recognised the importance of strengthening co-operation in the field of science and technology.
