India confirms first case of H1N1 flu

The health ministry on Saturday confirmed the first case of H1N1 flu in Hyderabad. A 23-year-old passenger who arrived at the Hyderabad International airport on May 13 from the US has been confirmed to be carrying the virus. According to the health ministry officials the identified person's sample was sent to a testing lab in New Delhi, which tested, positive for influenza A.
