India is committed to economic reforms: Pranab

Addressing the fourth ministerial-level India-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue, finance minister, Pranab Mukherjee in London on Monday said India is committed to economic reforms and the country has recorded 8.5 % growth rate in 2010-11 despite global slowdown impacting the world economy. He said the global economic slowdown saw the bilateral trade declining in 2009-10, but figures for 2010-11 indicate recovery. The finance minister also stated that the two countries have agreed to strengthen financial sector collaborations.
