India offers help to trace missing Malaysian plane

Union Foreign Minister, Salman Khurshid, said that the government has offered help to the Malaysian government to trace the missing plane with 239 people on board. Officials investigating the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines jetliner with 239 people on board suspect it may have disintegrated in mid-flight, a source told, as Vietnam reported a possible sighting of the wreckage of the plane. Khurshid sent a condolence message on behalf of the nation. Family members of the five Indian passengers missing in the incident are anxiously waiting for any information about the fate of the plane and their near and dear ones. K V Shirsath, father-in-law of missing Indian passenger, Kranti Shirsath, said that she was on her way to China to meet her husband.
