India, Pakistan pledge to resolve issues and continue talks

Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan on Wednesday pledged to continue composite talks and work towards the progress of both the neighbouring countries. While addressing the media after watching the Indo-Pak World Cup semifinal in Mohali, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani disclosed that on the sidelines of the game, crucial issues concerning both nations were discussed. He added that the two countries should work together to combat common evils and issues. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh supported Gilani's views adding that all efforts would be made by the two leaders to overcome common challenges.
