India tightens security ahead of polls

Paramilitary forces are being deployed in Jammu and Kashmir and other sensitive spots across the country ahead of next months general elections. RC Tayal, Inspector General of Central Reserve Police Force in Jammu Province, visited the Poonch district in Jammu in connection with the deployment of forces during the elections. Meanwhile, paramilitary troops took out a flag march in Agra as part of tightening security in Uttar Pradesh.
