It's important to rise above politics to combat militancy: Jaitley

Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha and BJP leader Arun Jaitley on Sunday stated that in the aftermath of the recent bomb blasts in Mumbai, it is very important to rise above vote bank politics to effectively combat militancy. While attending a party meet in Mumbai, Jaitley said that militancy could only be effectively countered if schemes to fight it were made above the issues of vote bank politics. Meanwhile, Jaitley also slammed the Congress for proposing a special law on communal violence while revoking a special tough anti-terror law on the other hand.
