J&K assembly: Lawmakers manhandle each other over transfer of power projects

Opposition National Conference and Congress lawmakers today disrupted proceedings in both houses of Jammu and Kashmir legislature after the opposition accused the government of misleading people on the issue of transfer of power projects to the state. Chaos ensued in the Assembly as the Speaker directed marshaling out of some members and lawmakers were seen manhandling and shoving each other and even throwing punches.
