Jiabao lays wreath at Gandhi's memorial

After receiving a warm ceremonial welcome at the Indian presidential palace, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited the memorial of India's independence leader Mahatma Gandhi, in New Delhi on Thursday. The Chinese Premier reached Rajghat and laid floral wreaths at Gandhi memorial. Wen signed in the visitor's book at Rajghat and was presented a statuette of Mahatma Gandhi.The Chinese premiere,arrived India on Wednesday to soothe tensions and strengthen trade and political ties.
