Kozhikode: Close shave for Ronaldinho as traffic post falls

Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho today had a miraculous escape after a traffic signal post fell in front of his car near Kozhikode.

The incident occurred when Ronaldinho, who was here for a

two day visit in connection with Sait Nagjee Cup football

tournament, was returning after attending a function where he interacted with young students of a local school.

According to police, the traffic post, which was not in a

working condition, fell down as excited fans, standing on the

road side, rushed forward to catch a glimpse of Ronaldinho. No one was injured, the police officials said making it clear there

was no security lapse.
