Lakshmi Sehgal suffers cardiac arrest, condition critical

Veteran freedom fighter Captain Lakshmi Sehgal, who has worked with iconic figure Subhash Chandra Bose during the struggle for independence, was on Thursday admitted in a hospital in Kanpur, following a cardiac arrest. Sehgal was the head of women regiment of the Indian National Army (INA) set by Bose in 1943 to secure India's independence from British empire.
