Marble industry of Rajasthan hit by recession

The current recessionary trends have bruised the real estate sector and impacted the marble industry in Rajasthan. The sharp drop in demand has adversely affected hundreds of marble miners and processors at Kishangarh, leading marble processing town in the state. According to the Kishangarh Marble Industry Association, the marble sales have fell by 10-15 per cent.
