Minor girl rape case: Mayawati continues to receive flak

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Bahujan Samaj Party, is under continuous fire over the Lakhimpur minor girl rape case. Condemning the incident, Samajwadi Party general secretary Azam Khan, who met the victm's mother, on Tuesday slammed the state chief Mayawati saying that Uttar Pradesh witnesses the maximum number of crimes against women, despite being ruled by a lady.
