Musharraf leaves for Saudi

Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf left for Saudi Arabia on November 20, leaving a trail of speculation that he was going to meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Meanwhile, the Pakistan election commission on November 20 announced that the parliamentary polls would be held on January 8. Meanwhile, dozens of women from the six party-Islamists alliance protested in Islamabad on November 20 against emergency rule.
