'N-deal was not under wraps'

India's main ruling Congress party on Thursday refuted all allegations that it has kept its Left allies in the dark about the contents of the Indo US nuclear deal. The government on July 9 forwarded the safeguards draft text to the IAEA and also simultaneously released its contents on the website. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met President Pratibha Patil on Thursday evening to apprise her of the latest developments on the nuke deal.
