Nagla Kalar rape and murder: Accused slits throat, survives

In a recent development, the prime accused in the rape and murder of a six-year-old girl in Aligarh, was on Sunday found in the middle of a road in the city with his throat and wrists partially slit. Reportedly the accused resorted to such an act, out of guilt. The policemen immediately rushed him to a hospital where he was given first aid, and he survived. Meanwhile, family members and relatives of the victim are sitting on a hunger strike, demanding justice for their murdered daughter.
