Nation pays homage to Parliament attack martyrs

The nation on Tuesday paid homage to the martyrs of the terrorist attack on Parliament. The memorial function was held at parliament where MPs from all parties joined vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to pay tributes to the brave hearts who laid down their lives defending their motherland. While senior BJP leader LK Advani hailed the spirit of martyrs who sacrificed their life in a bid to foil the attack, leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Swaraj criticised the government for not executing the death sentence of attack convict Afzal Guru.
