Nirbhaya’s mother | Hope the Rajya Sabha passes the Juvenile Justice Bill tomorrow

The December 16, 2012 Delhi gang rape victim's mother said that she had no expectations from the court and the court has sent a wrong message to the society.The Supreme Court has dismissed a plea by the Delhi Commission for Women against the release of the juvenile convict in the brutal Nirbhaya gang rape case.

However, she hopes that the Rajya Sabha passes the new Juvenile Justice Bill tomorrow. The new bill, which states people aged between 16 and 18 would be tried as adults for heinous crimes, has already been passed by the Lok Sabha.
