Nithyananda gets sacked from Madurai mutt

Senior pontiff Arunagirinathar, at an ancient Hindu monastery has announced the removal of tainted self-styled godman Nithyananda from his post at the revered mutt Madurai Adheenam. On being asked why Nithyananda was sacked, Arunagirinathar, who had earlier defended his action, said that he had sought the help of police as his life is threatened as the disciples of Nithyananda are residing at the mutt.
