The Pakistani Taliban has expressed "shock" over today's execution of Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving Pakistani terrorist of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that killed 166 people. "There is no doubt that it's very shocking news and a big loss that a Muslim has been hanged on Indian soil," Taliban spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan told Reuters. Kasab was hanged at Pune's Yerwada Jail at 7:30 am, after President Pranab Mukherjee rejected his appeal for mercy.
