Pandemonium prevailed in Parliament on Tuesday as both houses of parliament were adjourned for the day since opposition continued to press for adjournment motion which entails voting on price rise and government unwilling to accept this demand. Rajya Sabha called it the day soon after it assembled after Question Hour as the Opposition members raised slogans protesting the spiralling prices. Before that, the upper house was adjourned till 12 pm as the BJP and Left MPs did not heed Chairman Hamid Ansari's repeated pleas to let the question hour continue.
