Pawan Kumar Bansal slams Joshi over PAC fiasco

Updated on Apr 30, 2011 09:55 pm IST

India's Parliamentary Affairs minister Pawan Kumar Bansal today slammed BJP leader and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) probe panel, Murli Manohar Joshi, for walking out of PAC meet that was held on Thursday. Bansal further said that the BJP's allegation that the rejection of the report by the committee as unauthorized is baseless. As per the claims of the Congress-led UPA Government, the report was rejected by 11:10 votes, though Joshi is claiming that since he had adjourned the sitting of the panel, it was not rejected.
