Police arrest owner of collapsed building in New Delhi

As the death toll in Monday evening's building collapse in Laxmi Nagar area of east Delhi climbed to 66 on Tuesday, the owner of the building, Amritpal Singh, has been arrested by the east Delhi police and booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Singh has been booked for culpable homicide in accordance with Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code.
