Police involved in Shopian case: Mufti
Updated on Aug 14, 2009 07:57 pm IST
Chief of People's Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday accused the state police of being involved in the Shopian twin rape and murder case. Kashmir government has decided to handover the case to the CBI, officials said on Wednesday. Mufti said the CBI enquiry would be of no help as the vaginal samples submitted by the Special Investigation Team of the state police to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory for DNA tests were fake, gathered from women unconnected to the victims.
